This website showcases work that Peter has has produced in his 50 years as a Pen & Ink artist. Born in Llanelli, Wales, Peter spent his working career as an engineer, mostly overseas in the Oil & Gas industry. He started the current medium of pen & ink drawing in the mid 1970’s and continued throughout his project life. Following his retirement he moved to Malta, and opened an art gallery in the small city of Birgu (Vittoriosa) producing many drawings of the Valletta and Birgu area. He moved back to Wales in 2021 and now lives with his wife in Cardiff . He has recently joined the Cardiff Print Workshop where he continues to develop his skills in intaglio photo-polymer print making.

Notable sales & achievements in Peter’s art career

1978: SASOL II Construction site drawing: Purchased by Africana Museum, (since renamed ‘MuseumAfrica’), Johannesburg , 1979. Current location unknown. (Possibly still at the museum)

1979: Steam Plant Construction within SASOL II site. Corporate Commission for 'Deutsche Babcock Group’, Secunda. , 1979. The company was dissolved in 2002. Current location unknown.

1980: Al Hasam Mosque, Abu Dhabi, UAE: Large format drawing of the old Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi centre. The drawing was sold to a local sheik for his art collection.

1983: The ‘Marianna IV’ berthed at Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, and used as an accommodation ship for a refinery construction site. A commission for Mr. J.S.Latsis, the ship’s owner and Greek shipping magnate . Current location unknown.

1997: Royal Academy Summer Exhibition : Two small drawings of Stokesay Castle and of the Great Hall of Stokesay Castle shortlisted to the Hanging Committee but failed to find a suitable section in the exhibition. Both drawings since sold privately.

2015: Drawing of ‘Glyndebourne House & Gardens’ selected for the 19th. National Open Art Exhibition at The Royal College of Art, London and sold on the opening night .
